HILAL KATIE HOBBS DISRESPECTS CHRIST & PROMOTES ISLAM IN ASH WEDNESDAY REMARKS

Millions of faithful American Christians attended Mass and worship services to receive ashes marking the beginning of Lent.

Hobbs marked the occasion with a post on X.

Here are her Ash Wednesday remarks from the official @GovernorHobbs X account:

Despite attending Catholic schools in her youth, Hobbs ignored the main reason for Lent: the Passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. She referenced reflection and service, but not the central themes of the Lenten season.

Later, she posted a message to the Muhammadans:

Her statement on Lent could be delivered at an Arbor Day ceremony. By contrast, her Ramadan post used the term “Holy Month” and even included an overtly Muhammadan salutation, “Ramadan Mubarak” in closing. There was no equal expression of respect for Christians in Arizona.

Christian voters will remember this as the 2026 election cycle approaches and Hobbs seeks a second term as governor. We will be here to remind them.

  • Why The Arizona Blade

    Why The Arizona Blade

    In the beginning…

When we started Arizona Informer in 2014, social media worked. Imperfectly, but it still worked.

Any user could speak directly to politicians, “reporters”, and institutions and get results and answers. You could show receipts and prove that powerful, entrenched interests were lying to you.

That era has been over for many years.

What was sold as a “better user experience” by social media companies with their use of algorithms was actually implemented to protect powerful interests, amplify leftist activist groups, and silence opposing viewpoints.

This was apparent during COVID lockdowns, and subsequent election cycles, including Arizona’s 2022 election, and when we were punished for opposing forced redefinitions of marriage and for affirming biological reality. Such topics were considered ‘verboten’. Discussions were silenced. Accounts were banned, or placed in shadow-banned timeouts. All discussions were buried under the guise of “protecting against misinformation”, many of which later proved accurate.

The Present: No Sacred Cows, No Partisan Cheerleading

The Arizona Blade exists because we do not want to play the ruling class’s reindeer games. We refuse to partake in access-politics and dopamine-chasing posts or headlines. We refuse to perform instead of inform. The Left cheers the abuse of power as “protecting democracy at all costs”, and many on the Right pretend to resist or advance Conservative causes while protecting their favorites.

Everyone wants access, therefore everyone avoids accountability.

We don’t want access, we want Truth. We want results. And the only way to get there is by being honest with the public.

The Arizona Blade will criticize power wherever it sits – including on the Right. That means calling out “McCain Republicans” when they coddle the Left, or denouncing Donald Trump’s betrayal of the Pro-Life movement, especially in Arizona.

No fanboys. No fixers. No favorites.

If a politician uses Conservatives for votes and then abandons, or worse, attacks them when it counts, we document it. If the media on either side runs cover, we will archive that too.

We don’t do hero worship here. We do not tolerate grifters and the unserious. We are not here to make friends or even maintain friendships. We are here to forward a cause – Truth.

    Built to Last…

The Arizona Blade is designed to outlast election cycles, news cycles, personalities, platforms, and cults of personalities.

We used to rely on social media, but social media forgets on purpose. It rewards selective amnesia and the entrenched elites benefit because they know you won’t remember what was said, promised, or abandoned.

    We remember.

The Arizona Blade will document what they hope you forget – on the Left and the Right – to preserve facts long after the algorithm and daily narrative moves on.

    That’s the mission.

That’s why The Arizona Blade exists.

    Cutting against the grain.
